Privacy
Short version: no tracking cookies, no ads, no profiles of visitors. Here is exactly what is stored.
Visits (analytics)
Each page view sends one small event: the page path, the referring site's hostname (not the full address), country (from the hosting provider), device type, browser and operating system.
To count unique visitors per day, a one-way hash of your IP address and browser is made with a secret salt that changes every day. The IP address itself is never stored, and because the salt changes, visits cannot be linked across days. No cookies are used, so there is no cookie banner.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected, and known bots are ignored. Individual events are deleted after 90 days; only daily totals are kept.
Contact form
If you send a message, your name, email address, the message and the optional topic are stored so it can be answered, and the message is emailed to Dulsara through Resend. A one-way hash of your IP address is kept only to limit spam. There is no automatic reply and the details are not shared or used for anything else.
The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that you are not a bot. Ask for deletion any time by emailing dulsaramanakal@gmail.com.
Ask Dulsara
Questions you type into Ask Dulsara are sent to Google Gemini, together with the public content of this site, to produce an answer. Please do not include personal or sensitive information in a question.
The question text and whether it could be answered are logged so missing content can be added. No IP address or other identity is stored with them.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs. Fonts are served from this site, not from a third party.
